  Primedia@Home secures Sinutab sales (18 October, 2007) 

Leading direct marketing and experiential marketing media company, Primedia@Home’s latest activation campaign had consumers touch, see, smell and purchase the new Sinutab Vapour Plug and Vapour Strips as they became available on the shelves.

To enable the product to converse with its target market, Primedia@Home stationed brand promoters in many Western Cape Clicks and Spar stores and Pick ‘n Pay Hypermarkets. Positioned in aisles alongside the Sinutab displays, well-trained activators shared Sinutab’s unique benefits with consumers, encouraging each to test the scent and purchase the new plug and strips.  Melvin Chagonda, Managing Director of Primedia@Home, is pleased with the results that the campaign activators achieved. “The positive feedback from consumers confirmed that they appreciate being able to touch and feel the new Sinutab products and many made immediate buying decisions,” he says.

Strategically planned and executed to enhance advertising and increase brand exposure, consumers were ‘taken aback’ with the ‘fabulous scent’ of the new product. “It’s hassle free, easy to use and smells great,” said one consumer who put the product straight into her basket.
